This week I continued to work on some programing for the DOBOTS and helped Vincent with the FANUC. we are still trying to figure out how to connect it to the PLC.

This week I worked with Vincent and tried hardwire the FANUC to the PLC.

This week me and Evan and Paula screwed down the equipment to plywood and worked on some programming for the dobots.

This week Evan and I got the bobot to download a program using the teach pendant I cut plywood to match the table to have a base to screw down equipment and worked on organizing our assembly line.

This week I was able to connect all three dobots to the PLC and the HMI. We started looking up how to download a program to the dobots using blockly to trigger the dobots program when we push a button on the HMI.

This week I went through the dobot's user manual to find which I/O pins on the base of the dobot's that will connect to the PLC. I attached a DMM to I/O pins EIO18 & EIO19. EIO18 gave me an output signal of 3.3v while I used I/O pin EIO19 for the input signal and created a test program on Blockl...

We set up an area for our assembly line on Tuesday, and I connected the classroom desktop computer to the PLC. On Thursday I was able to get the PLC and the HMI to talk to each other.

Experiment #27 did not corporate, the stepper motor would pulse out clockwise and counterclockwise simultaneously.
