I added to the Fanuc's programming, I helped secure the conveyor in place, I helped get the PLC working properly, and helped brainstorm possible ideas to program parts in the PLC.

I began programming the Fanuc and was able to get it to grab the cups and place them on the conveyor.

I finished soldering the I/O wires to the Fanuc and tested them to ensure that they worked properly.

I figured out exactly where I wanted to connect wires to and began soldering them in place.

I figured out how to hardwire I/O to the Fanuc robot and figured out how to connect an external stop pushbutton.

I successfully connected my computer to a PLC. I was also able to ping the Fanuc robot, but it seems that connecting to it via Ethernet/IP may not work out because Connected Components Workbench doesn't recognize that device.

I helped make considerable progress with the 3D printer and we were able to print usable parts. I also started working on getting a PLC connected to my computer.

I started looking into connecting a PLC to the Fanuc robot and downloaded Connected Components Workbench and the Dobot software. I also helped with trying to get the Dobot 3D printing to work.

This week I figured out how to use the Dorner conveyors and photoelectric sensors that are connected to the Fanuc robot. I was set back due to the batteries having to get changed and having to go through the mastering process, but I believe it is all set.
