NAISG Meetings.

Post by edbigos »

These are recommended. NAISG has been dormant for a while but they have good content in their presentation.

1. WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING AT NAISG

It’s been some time since I have sent out a newsletter or organized a meeting. However, I am happy to report that the Boston chapter of NAISG is still alive and well. I do have one important and good change to announce:

After more than thirteen years at the helm of NAISG, I have decided to step back from its routine operations and allow someone else to fill this role. I am pleased to announce that Lucien (“Lu”) Labrecque will be assuming the role of president of the organization and chair of the Boston chapter. Lu is already planning upcoming meetings and will be announcing other changes that he has in store for the chapter. I suspect that good things are in store for the group!

I will still be very involved with the group, but mostly on the back-end. And of course, if Lu cannot attend a particular meeting (yes, life and snow sometimes get in the way), I’ll be there ready to fill in for him.

Look for the next newsletter/update to come from Lu. In the meantime, stay secure!

2. NETWORK WITH OTHER NAISG MEMBERS ON MEETUP, LINKEDIN AND TWITTER

NAISG Boston has a Meetup. Join us there at http://www.meetup.com/National-Informat ... up-Boston/.

Join more than 5,000 other NAISG members on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=43269. Due to its size, NAISG is officially a "supergroup" as defined by LinkedIn! All requests to join are personally reviewed. Recruiters and those with no relation to IT or security are not permitted in the group, guaranteeing the relevance of its membership.

Join the Boston-specific, LinkedIn subgroup at https://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2388303.

Join 4,400 members in the Small Business IT Pros group for those of you that live in the SMB space: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=64458.

And finally, follow us on Twitter at https://twitter.com/naisg_org.

Yours,
Brad Dinerman
