IMPORTANT UPDATE: To free up I/O pins on the BS2 board, Part 2 of the exam has been changed to the following:

"Incorporate a "Cross Walk Switch" which when pressed will allow the traffic lights to finish their current cycle, Turn on the RED lights for all 4 directions, flash an additional ORANGE LED as a cross-walk signal at a frequency between 1 to 3 Hz while a 7-segment LED display lights segments a, g & d successively for 3 seconds each. You should fully complete this part before proceeding to step #3."

This will only require 3 I/O pins for the 7-segment display instead of the 7 for a complete display.

The exam attached below has been modified to reflect this change.

Please find attached the assignment for Exam #1 for EET-260 for the Spring 2019 semester. Printed copies of this exam will be distributed in class on Monday, 2/11/2019. This is a take home exam. It is due on or before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 (This is the Friday right before Spring break). Late submissions will be penalized. Your completed stoplight program must be demonstrated to your instructor to receive credit for the exercise. Each of the 3 parts must be demonstrated to receive full credit for that aspect of the assignment.

All documentation and diagrams must be completed both in hardcopy and electronically.

Be sure to follow instructions carefully and make the proper posts as indicated as a Reply to this Topic. An example of your finished posts is given below. Good Luck.
