This week we discussed further logistics regarding the automated drink dispenser. we also discussed what parts would be needed. Bob said he would be bringing in Unistrut, associated brackets, springnuts and maybe some hardware. Professor Jagadowski was looking into purchasing the 1/4" solenoids for the compressed air idea and I purchased some 1/4" pushlock straight, 90 degree and tee fittings along with 50 feet of the tubing. We also discussed the quantity and type of I/O that we would be needing for the plc and whether or not we would need a micro 850 instead of an 820 which it seems like we will. Hopefully next week we can start building the main structure and get a solid layout for how this piece will be built.
