today - 2/21/19 - Javier brought in some flavored syrup to test if the pumps would work with that. it works with the syrup. also today we set up one off the pumps so It can push air into a bottle, and force liquid out.

Javier also took some time to work on a pulse width program to see if we can slow down the pump.

Thursday (2/21): We tested out the pumps to see which one would work best with the syrup. Both worked well, but I feel the peristaltic pump would be better if it was pulse width modulated for dosage. I began work on a simple pulse width program using basic stamp. I took the pumps to work with at home to test varying pulse widths.
I researched possible flavor combonations for the machine for a better idea of the syrups and sodas we need.
I created a spreadsheet of flavor combinations.

javier brought in one in the syrups we are gonna use for our beverage dispenser, the syrup worked well with the pump we selected last week. we also tested the pulse width modulation with the board of education. there are a few things we have to tweak to make more effective.
