Day 9: (2/25) Blue Prints, Ladder Diagrams, Electronic Symbols

This week we will finish up our discussion of blueprints and begin a discussion of ladder diagrams and schematic diagrams. Included will be an introduction of electronic symbols over the next couple of classes.

After lecturing about Blueprints and ladder diagrams, we worked in the lab giving students the opportunity to create a rough blueprint of a few objects. The task included creating a title block, scaling either 1:1, 2:1 or 1:2, dimensioning (by measuring with a ruler). The assignment required creating a "Front View", a "Side View" and a "Top View" of each items. The items were a Lego block (scaled up), a metal plate (true scale) and a PC.
