Day 18 (3/18): Visio, Hand Tools & Power Tools

Post by rjagodowski »

We will begin today with a very brief intro and overview of MS Visio as a presentation for how Technical Diagrams can be created on a computer.

In lab today you will have the opportunity to continue working on the wiring/heat-shrink/labelling exercise from Day #17.

Then we will continue our discussion of some common hand tools and simple power tools.

Of special interest will be a Pop-Riveter. You will have the opportunity to use a pop-riveter in lab today.

A drill press. Time permitting, you will have the opportunity to use a drill press to drill a few holes for your rivets.
