Week #3: (9/20) Discussion of Reading Assignment.

We will finish the discussion of our reading assignment. Content for the second have of the reading has been posted back in Week #2 for continuity of last week's discussion.

Time permitting we will begin some fundamental electrical concepts from Chapter 19 in the text. For next week, please read pages 367-375. Key topics to concentrate on in this reading are: Atoms & Subatomic particles, static electricity, conductors, insulators, resistance, voltage (emf), current, direct current (DC), alternating current (AC), circuit loads, switches, short circuits,open circuits, series circuits,parallel circuits and complex (series & parallel components).

You should answer the Review Questions 1-22 and NIMS Prep Questions 1-6. You should have these completed by Friday, 10/4.
