Week #11 & #12: (4/4-16) Soldering & RoHS Compliance

There are two IPC videos you should watch: 142C Intro to Hand Soldering (36 min) and 144C Hand Soldering Surface Mount Component Installation (33 min). An email was sent to you (4/13/22 evening) with a link to view those videos which are on my Google Drive. I posted some additional videos which I recommend that you view. Some of the other videos will be used later in this course and in EET-255.

There is additional information about Soldering, specifically Surface Mount Devices, and RoHS compliance in Week #13 of EET-255.

Here is a 20 minute YouTube video series showing Basic Soldering Lessons. This is pretty dated (1980) but the content is very good, plus it's so typical of instructional media of the day. And here's Part 2 (6 min)
