Note that this is different than the Sensor Learning Course we've been using which is attached below. This document is just to demonstrate the variety of styles available when selecting a limit switch. This is different than the document posted in Week #2.

This week we will continue working through the Eaton Sensors handout with Photo-Electric Sensors, and then our discussion will focus on 2, 3 & 4 wire sensors, sensor timing and time permitting, enclosure ratings.

We'll also spend a bit of time discussing 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire sensors. Some supplemental information from Wisc-Online about:
