Week #3 (2/6-2/10) Weekly Progress Report

Post by rjagodowski »

Post your progress, contributions, work and anything else you did for the Team project here.

There will be a separate Topic for each week during the semester.

These are individual posts, so each member must post their own progress report. If you worked with others, or the entire group, then you can mention that in your post as well. But each member must post to receive credit for this week's post.

I removed all of the old wires off of the wooden board that the past class used to hold up the equipment they used. We also troubleshot the Fanuc some more, along with some more 3D printing.

Week 3:
Some more planning continued but we are pretty much set on what the vision of the project will look like. We all assigned each other tasks. PLC work began with Joe and Greytton, Vlad started working with the servo motors, Jake and Rigo were helping plan as well. I will be doing some Fanuc robot work and as well as woodwork for the project.

I started figuring out how to combine the Arduino mini and the CNC Shield to operate a few of the stepper motors we will use as stops for the ramps that will slide the boxes down. We also finalized on the hopper design and created a parts list of materials for the hopper as well as the ramps.
