This week I worked on the hopper for our golf balls by drilling out holes for vibrators to help stop the balls from getting stuck. We also worked on PLC/conveyor connection, along with some woodwork to start making the base for our hopper.

Week 4:
Things really started to kick off here, the 3d printed slots for the box to hold to balls were printed, PLC work continued, Greytton brought a cone for the golf balls to drop in through, I cut out the tip to make it bigger. I also cut a slab of 12x12 inch wooden plywood for the base of the hopper. A couple of my classmates and I went to help Professor Rick get some tools from the automotive shop before as well.

we started to examine our 3D parts and make sure we know it would work or had to make adjustments, we did get more into detail with PLC with Joe and Greyton. Also mess with the wires and work on hooking up the reflective sensor to make sure it work as we intended and found a minor flaw.

I figured out how to incorporate the CNC Shield together with the Arduino and got the Stepper motors to turn. Now I just need to reduce its turn radius and adjust to the proper speed for it to turn. I also 3d Printed a sleeve that is going to go into the boxes at home and brought in some material to use for the building of the ramps and hopper.
