Week #9 (3/20-24) Weekly Progress Report

Post by rjagodowski »

Post your progress, contributions, work and anything else you did for the Team project here.

There will be a separate Topic for each week during the semester.

These are individual posts, so each member must post their own progress report. If you worked with others, or the entire group, then you can mention that in your post as well. But each member must post to receive credit for this week's post.

We tested the new hopper, It did not work so we researched new vibrators, and got them ordered. Cleaned up our work area and started setting up the locations for each component.

This week I built a second ramp for the project, identical to the first. Jake and Vlad tested the new vibrators on the hopper and realized we needed stronger ones so we ordered some, Greyyton, Jake, and Rigo continued with the PLC and also tested the Fanuc Robot.

Attempted to use the new vibrator motors however they proved to be ineffective. I think the vibration wasn't high enough and the positioning was off. We also tried to cut a bigger hole but that had seemed to not yield better results.
