Week #11 (4/3-7) Weekly Progress Report

Post by rjagodowski »

Post your progress, contributions, work and anything else you did for the Team project here.

There will be a separate Topic for each week during the semester.

These are individual posts, so each member must post their own progress report. If you worked with others, or the entire group, then you can mention that in your post as well. But each member must post to receive credit for this week's post.

This week was also very productive, Greyyton and Joe continued to work on the PLC portion. Vlad 3d printed out some parts for the project, Jake helped out with conveyor portion. Rigo measured and planned out the ramp servo motor attachements. I cut out wood for the conveyor base, sensor mounting block, and the servo motor attachments.

This week I helped with positioning the conveyor and started to design how our new hopper system would fit into the project. The rest of the group worked on the ramps/plc.

I designed and 3d printed 2 servo brackets that would hold our 2 stepper motors. One is going to be positioned on the ramp, and the other on the golf ball shoot. I also designed and 3d printed a custom forklift-style end effector for the Fanuc and began testing to see if it could withstand the full box's weight.
