Priliminary Project Ideas

Below are the project ideas presented during our lab session on Tuesday, 1/23. On Thursday, 1/24, we will solicit any additional input and make a decision on the project or projects to be constructed this semester.

Proposed Ideas:

*Gift Wrapping Robot
*Finishing/Materials Processing/Sanding
*Identification/inspection/sorting
*Coin sorter/roller/resistor
*Clothes sorter & folder
*Vending Machines (suggested after our lab session)


Remember that projects must include the following:

-Under control of A-B Micro 800 series PLC
-HMI Operator Panel
-Fanuc Robot + any other robotic arms (Dobots?)
-Pneumatics and/or Hydraulics

It is also suggested that a Camera/Vision System but used.
Micro-controllers are also welcome additions to the project.
